The Cadarache ski club runs a ski shop with approximately 100 ski pairs, 120 pairs of ski boots, 20 snowboards and 25 snowboard boot pairs, for children and adults. The prices are competitive compared to rental in resorts. The equipment is recent and maintained every year. Ski boots are sanitized after each rental.
Reservations are possible for any desired date (subject to availability).

Conditions
To rent equipment you must be a member of the ski club. You are requested to join the club at ITER or CEA before coming to the ski shop to reserve or rent equipment. You will need to show your member card.
Location and opening hours
The ski shop is located at the Cité de la Grande Bastide, Bâtiment 916, just outside Cadarache in the direction of Saint-Paul-lez-Durance. ON the raod to the cité gate, take the dirt path on the right after the building 917 and go around this building to the 916 building (see map above).
Opening hours: Fridays from December 6, 2024 to the end of April 2025 (by appointment in April)
- from 12.00 to 12.30 to return and reserve equipment
- from 12.30 to 13.15 to return equipment

Please pay by personal cheque when taking the equipment.
For the racing skis a deposit of 300 € is necessary and the annual rental is not possible.
If you go on a day trip organised by the ski club you get a discounted rate for your rental: 15 € for adults, 12 € for children for skis or surf and boots (+ extra charge for top of the range skis). Ask for this special rate at the ski shop.
Rental for several club day trips
In order to simplify equipment rental if participate in several club day trips in a row, we advise you to opt for annual hire, the price of which has been greatly reduced. It is still possible to hire equipment on an trip-by-trip basis.
Returns and penalties
So that the largest number of members can benefit from our rental service, we ask you to return the rented equipment on time. However, if you really cannot return the equipment on time, you will have to pay the day trip rate for each week the equipment is late. Please send an e-mail before Friday 10.00am to materiel.skiclubcad@gmail.com to inform of the delay and find a solution to return the equipment quickly.
Equipment care instructions
Please respect the care instructions as follows for the rented equipment:
- Fasten the boot hooks to avoid any deformation of the plastic
- Take the boots out of the bag to air them and enable them to dry
- Take the skis or snowboard out of the bag, dry the soles and let the skis / snowboard dry separately to avoid rusting of the metallic edges
Damages
You are responsible for all damages caused to the equipment while you rent it. Check that your insurance covers these damages in case of an accident. Before taking the equipment verify its condition. All defects seen on return will be charged.
